Uploading products with CSV file

The easiest way to import a CSV file with a list of your products is to first create a product in your store, and then use that as the basis for the CSV file you would like to upload. Here's how to do this:

1. Log into the Sitebuilder. 
2. Click Menu > Store.
3. Go to Catalog > Products.
4. Click +Add New product.
5. Add a new product (ensure that you fill in all the relevant information such as price, weight etc).
6. Click Save.

The product you have created becomes a template for your CSV file. All you need to do now is export this product to your spreadsheet editor, add your products and upload the CSV file to your online store. Here's how:

1. Click on the check box next to the product you have just created.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Export All.
3. Select Semicolon as the delimiter.
4. Click to select or deselect columns as needed.
5. Click Download CSV file.
6. Open the downloaded CSV file in your spreadsheet editor.
7. Use this file as an example and template for creating a CSV file with all of your products.
   • Please note: If your example product name or any other text field contains special characters (é, ñ, ã, etc.), they may be incorrectly displayed in your spreadsheet editor. You will need to correct them manually (using your keyboard).
8. Manually add the rest of your products to your spreadsheet. If you have additional products with special characters, you can type them as usual.
9. When you've created your product list, save it. If you receive a message regarding the formatting of your spreadsheet (usually something like: "Do you want to save your sheet in this format"), click Yes.
10. Go back to Catalog > Products.
11. Click Import products.
12. Select the file you would like to upload.
13. Select Semicolon as the delimiter.
14. You can drag and drop the column order as desired.
15. To view special characters correctly, select the "ISO-8859-1" option from the "Character Encoding" drop down menu. If you don't use special characters, you can leave the default setting.
16. Scroll down and select Import.
17. Your products will be displayed in the product list.

Once you've created this file, editing it is really easy, and you don't need to create a new file every time you add products. Simply edit the CSV file on your computer and follow the steps to import the file. Your product list will be updated accordingly.
